About Altamont Beer Works:

Altamont Beer Works was founded in 2012 and we officially opened the doors in February of 2013. Myself and Greg, my business partner, were both home brewers, but got a hop commercial brewing for two years prior to opening. During the time of building our brewery, I was still working at the previous brewery. Once we got our 20 bbl system up and going, there was no stopping from there. This current year we hit 7,000 bbls, which we were pretty stoked on. We currently and have always self distributed our beer and are draft only. We chose to do this for many reasons, but number one, getting the customer the freshest beer possible. We also have a tasting room on site where we offer flights, growler fills, and pints. We do lots of events at brewery including ones for charity, concerts, movie premiers, etc. We are 100% focused on supporting our local community; which in my mind has helped us succeed to where we are. We plan to continue to grow and offer our beers into new local markets. This year should be a fun one and one for some serious growth.

About their beer and branding:

We focus mainly on hoppy beers; I was trained under Tony Lawrence from Boneyard Beer. All of our hoppy beers, sessions to triple IPAs, have big hop flavors and aromas with a mild/balanced bitterness. The goal is to showcase what hops can do, and the best way to do that is through flavor and aroma. We also do barrel aged beers and sours; as well as the norms, wheat, stout, brown, etc. The goal with our branding was to bring a more aggressive “extreme sport” look to our logos. I didn’t want your basic mountains, lakes, and grain/hop logos that a lot of breweries do. I came from the wakeboard/snowboard industry prior, so I wanted bring a similar look to our branding. It has proven to be very successful and we continue to grow on our brand every day.

Altamont-Beer-Works-Keg-Collar

How did you find KegCollars.net and how has it been working with us?

We found out about you guys via the Internet. We use dirt bike graphic material collars on all of our kegs for cost savings and waste management. However, we needed some collars for when we get new shipments of kegs, use disposable kegs, and when we get a damaged keg collar form an account. I heard nothing but great things about your company; and have had an even better experience. I also needed some stickers for promo material for festivals, but also for our growlers since in CA we have to sticker a growler that is not ours. Your rolls of stickers have been great and working with you guys has been super easy. Anytime I find a vendor that is super easy to work with, with great products, and great pricing; I stick with them and stay loyal.
